著者は、シャーロック・ホームズファンのGuy Adams。いくつかシャーロック・ホームズやコナン・ドイル関係の著作があるようです。
もちろん洋書ですのですべて英語ですが、スチール写真だけじゃなくてセットとか、撮影時の裏話とか、221Bの間取り図とか、いろいろ詰め込んでもらえたら嬉しいな～と思います。※追記をご覧ください。
一応、説明によれば、各事件はジョンのブログとレストレードのレポート、新聞記事、シャーロックのノートなどを元に再検証するように読み取れます。また、ベネディクト・カンバーバッチ、マーティン・フリーマン、ルパート・グレイヴスや、脚本＆制作のマーク・ゲイティス、スティーヴン・モファットのインタビューも入るとか。
まぁ、あまり期待しすぎるのも良くないので、とりあえず出ることを素直に喜んでおきたいと思いますｗ
ちなみに、日本アマゾンだと2012.11.27発売予定になっていますが、UK本国では2012.10.25発売の予定。1ヶ月も本国の方が早い！ただし、本は重い分だけ送料がかさむので、ご注意を。

管理人はこのガイド本をロンドンのシャーロック・ホームズ・ミュージアムで見つけて、狂喜乱舞して買いこみましたが、日本アマゾンにあるので、重たい思いをしなくても簡単に入手できたのですね(^_^;
ぜひとも、BBC『SHERLOCK/シャーロック』のガイド本も、これくらいの中身でお願いします！滅茶苦茶期待が高まりますっ！
