Producers transformed the flat above Speedy's Sandwich Bar, near London's Euston station, into a modern-day 221B Baker Street, home to Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson in the updated series.
Speedy's is half a mile from the real Baker Street and owner Chris Georgiou, 53, said: 'Even though the show only started a month ago, we've had 200 new customers who recognised the shopfront and asked if it was 221B Baker Street.
'We have attracted all sorts from across the globe. Lots of Asian people stop to take photographs and we even had the Sherlock Holmes Appreciation Society drop in for a coffee. The cast and crew were all great when they were filming. I chatted to Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman [who play Holmes and Watson] and they were charming.'
A BBC spokeswoman said they wanted to film on Baker Street but were thwarted by heavy traffic. The flat above Speedy's, in North Gower Street, is really home to two South Korean students, one of whom, Tae Kim, 33, said: 'There have been lots of people taking photographs outside.'

確かに、実際のベーカーストリートは大通りでものすごい通行量だったので、実物で撮影するのは無理だったと思います。ドラマを見た時に、ベーカーストリートってこんな、1車線ずつしかない道路だったか？と思いました。
ちょい気になるのは、なんで＜Lots of Asian People＞なんだろう、ってこと。日本人とは限りませんけど、Asianなんだ？
