2013.04.19より始まるFOXの新ドラマ『Da Vinci's Demons』に出演しているララ・パルヴァーが、『SHERLOCK/シャーロック』シリーズ3にアイリーン・アドラーが戻る可能性がないことを話しました。

"As far as I know, I'm not going to be a part of series three," the star told Radio Times. "It's [creators] Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat's passion project. If it fits to have her back, I know they'll write it; if it doesn't I trust them to get it right."
But while the dominatrix may not be making a return to the hit BBC drama ? which is filming at the moment ? Pulver's Twitter fan base remains dedicated to her portrayal of Adler.
"Oh my god, I get inundated every day with people saying 'Please say Irene Adler's going to be in season three, please!'" said Pulver.
The 32-year-old actress is instead set to star in upcoming historical drama Da Vinci's Demons, which premieres on Fox next week. And just like Adler, her new character is not afraid to bare some flesh...
"We are in renaissance Italy, which involved women often being used for men's desires... We don't shy away from sexual intimacy in the storytelling," she said, before adding: "However, I'm not one to drop my clothes for the sake of it."
