In his new film, The Imitation Game, Benedict Cumberbatch plays Alan Turing, the gay man who led the team that cracked the German Enigma code in WWII.
Turing’s incredible work was credited with saving an estimated 14 million lives. That this hero was rewarded with a chemical castration that led to his suicide leaves Cumberbatch “angry beyond words,” as he explains in an exclusive Winq interview:
